Data Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with AI/ML engineers, the remote Mid-Level Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data systems and pipelines to support machine learning applications for a Navy IT command.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze use cases and high-level requirements to define detailed requirements for data solution design and implementation
• Establish and update data architectures/models, data standards, transformations, and integrations
• Provide automation through the development and deployment of modern software-intensive solutions

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of experience supporting corporate operations with data management and analysis
• 3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, and data visualization
• 3 years of Business Intelligence experience designing dashboards and reporting solutions using the QLIK Advana reporting suite
• Technical skills: Python, SQL, data modeling, APIs, data architecture
• BS degree in Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields
