Data Engineer
Job Summary
Telecommuting from anywhere within the U.S., the full-time Senior Data Engineer will manage the full development cycle of a Data Warehouse, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance, while ensuring quality processes throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop technical specifications and design documents for Data Warehouse infrastructure
- Deploy and maintain Data Warehouses and Data Marts, while profiling and analyzing data using SQL
- Coordinate with business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to assist in defining test cases and plans
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing or ETL Development and Testing
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Unix (Shell Scripting), Perl, or Python
- 3+ years of experience with databases like Teradata or similar
- 3+ years of experience with Data Analysis, including healthcare data analysis
