Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data-driven initiatives, the full-time remote Data Engineer will build and maintain reliable data pipelines, modernize legacy workflows, and collaborate with analytics and data science teams using AWS technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL while ensuring data quality and observability
- Migrate legacy workflows to robust orchestration frameworks and improve pipeline reliability and monitoring
- Partner with analytics and data science teams to provide clean, modeled datasets and support BI tools and reporting workflows
Required qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including warehouse-specific optimization
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3 and Redshift
- Experience using APIs for data ingestion and system integration
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
