Job Summary
Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, the full-time remote Data Engineer will work within a new team to develop and transform data models, ensuring data quality and documentation while collaborating closely with experienced engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from production source systems
- Write transformation models to convert raw data into trustworthy datasets
- Deploy pipelines to production and conduct thorough testing for data quality
Required qualifications
- Professional experience in building data pipelines with production ownership
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Go
- Hands-on experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Practical experience with ELT and orchestration tools such as Fivetran or Airflow
