Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the full-time remote Data Engineer will manage database monitoring, integration, and performance tuning while providing production support and optimizing database architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize database performance, security, and user access
- Perform SQL server upgrades and coordinate with functional DBAs on operations and security
- Create and modify database structures, migration scripts, and backup/recovery procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in database management and administration
- 1+ years of experience with a federal agency or federal contractor
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
