Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the early career Data Engineer will develop and manage data infrastructure projects and proof of concept solutions for analytics and Data Science, collaborating closely with data scientists and analytic engineers to deliver effective data engineering work tracks.

Key Responsibilities

• Builds test scripts and executes testing to ensure end user acceptance in collaboration with data scientists and business stakeholders
• Leverages agile data analysis and technology fluency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Spark to meet dynamic business needs
• Participates in the development of enterprise data assets and prototypes for business or research data solutions

Required Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and analytics, with proficiency in SQL and Python
• Familiarity with parallel processing and programming technologies such as Spark
• Ability to work in an agile environment and execute rapid development cycles
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling and analytics infrastructure requirements
• Experience mentoring team members in a technical environment
