Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support Government clients, the fully remote Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions, focusing on implementing a Snowflake-based system with automated data workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and develop data solutions
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake
- Implement data quality frameworks and operationalize data workflows with monitoring and automated recovery mechanisms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with six or more years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake and AWS services, along with hands-on experience using SQL and Python
- Experience with GitHub for source control and knowledge of data integration patterns and modern data architecture
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
- Understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies
