Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a critical technical role, the full-time remote Data Engineer will take ownership of building, scaling, and optimizing data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data integration and processing across cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage while ensuring data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement scalable data models that support business intelligence and analytics
- Optimize performance and reliability of cloud-based data systems by addressing bottlenecks and conducting capacity planning
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of proven data engineering experience with expertise in data integration, modeling, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud architectures, including tools like Dagster, AWS, and Snowflake
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
