Data Engineer

Job Summary

Transforming raw utility and geospatial data into high-accuracy digital twin models, the full-time remote Data Engineer will contribute to the deployment of the Neara platform for utility customers worldwide, ingesting massive datasets and ensuring engineering-grade accuracy.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the end-to-end deployment of the Neara platform for utility customers
• Ingest and manipulate large datasets using Neara's schema language and configuration framework
• Perform rigorous QA/QC to ensure digital twin accuracy and build custom reports for actionable insights

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar role
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., SQL, Python) and ability to learn new languages
• Background in engineering, mathematics, software engineering, computer science, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR data is beneficial
• Ability to break down complex data discrepancies and ensure model accuracy
