Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting consulting engagements, the remote Data Engineer will utilize applied data analytics and engineering skills to transform raw data into actionable insights, executing ETL processes and producing data visualizations to meet project-level data analysis needs.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with consulting and solutions project leaders to address project-level data analysis requirements
- Execute ETL processes on various customer data sets and perform standardized and ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Produce data visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel to effectively communicate data insights
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science, or formal education in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL, including data modeling, ad hoc querying, and query performance optimization
- Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx, dbt, or Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
