Job Summary
Seeking a senior Data Engineer for a remote contract opportunity, the candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable data products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows across modern data platforms
- Develop solutions using tools such as Spark, PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL
- Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into durable datasets and data products
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL ecosystems
- Proven experience with multiple data engineering/ETL tools
- Knowledge of software engineering principles including unit testing and CI/CD
- Preferred experience with cloud-native data platforms and generative AI initiatives
