Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role will manage the modernization of ETL processes and data pipelines from legacy applications into AWS native services, enabling timely decision-making through analytical models and dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and develop minimum viable analytic products
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and reusable analytical data products using Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Implement data-quality checks and documentation while transitioning solutions into sustained operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and analysis
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or PySpark and distributed-data processing concepts
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
