Job Summary

To support regulatory reporting initiatives, the contract Data Engineer will rebuild the SAS-based Energization Timelines pipeline in SAP Datasphere, integrating source data and ensuring compliance with business logic while working remotely in the PST time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild and productionise the Energization Timelines pipeline in SAP Datasphere, retiring SAS dependency
• Identify and integrate source data from various systems, ensuring accurate mapping and validation of business logic
• Document data lineage and provide a complete handover package while remediating fragmented dataflows post-delivery

Required qualifications

• Experience in production data engineering and SAS reverse-engineering
• Strong proficiency in SQL and modern ELT tools, particularly SAP Datasphere
• Expertise in complex event and interval logic
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with SMEs and regulatory bodies
• Ability to deliver projects within tight timelines with no reporting continuity gaps
