Data Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen the data team, the full-time Data/ML Engineer will design and operate data pipelines, develop machine learning enrichment capabilities, and collaborate with research teams to create impactful data products, with a remote work arrangement available for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines ensuring data accuracy and quality for research use
• Develop and manage machine learning and NLP enrichment pipelines over large-scale data
• Collaborate with research teams to define data products and apply advanced techniques to scientific challenges

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer, machine learning engineer, or data scientist
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in distributed data processing (e.g., Apache Spark)
• Experience building and operating machine learning or NLP pipelines
• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms
