Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the implementation and administration of a modern data platform for federal initiatives, the full-time remote Data Engineer will develop and maintain data solutions, build scalable data pipelines, and enhance data quality while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion workflows using PySpark and SQL
- Support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives and improve data governance practices
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and support MI/BI reporting initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and supporting enterprise data solutions using cloud technologies
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark with experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
- Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and enterprise data governance initiatives
