Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting high-priority projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Data Engineer will lead the development of data cleanse reports and business intelligence solutions while managing technical support for financial data quality and automation efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of data cleanse reports and automated workflows for the VA FMBT program
- Manage day-to-day technical support for developers and analysts focused on financial data quality and cleansing activities
- Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows, PL/SQL processes, and Power BI reports for data automation solutions
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent with 8 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in data analysis
- Experience in delivering complex data products and ETL pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Power BI and Alteryx
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
