Job Summary
Building and maintaining reliable data pipelines, the full-time Data Engineer will support critical healthcare data products and customer-facing solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support moderate-complexity ETL/ELT pipelines and data components using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and data quality issues, ensuring timely delivery and operational reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and assess the impact of data changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with a focus on production data solutions
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with hands-on experience in developing production data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and distributed data processing technologies like Apache Spark/PySpark
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Argo
