Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Senior Data Engineer in pipeline development and data transformation, the remote Data Engineer I will assist with data integration activities for a Department of Defense contract, focusing on ETL processes and the maintenance of data assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, monitoring, and maintaining data assets provided by the Data Centralization and Business Intelligence team
- Support the development and maintenance of SSIS packages for data ingestion and integration
- Help resolve help desk tickets related to data assets and maintain technical documentation for data processes
Required qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technical roles
- Proficient in SQL for data engineering and automation tasks
- Hands-on experience with Power BI report development and troubleshooting
- Must be eligible for Tier 1 background investigation
