Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the hybrid AVP, Data Engineer will ingest and transform source data into consumable data products for the Reporting team, requiring expertise in Data Modeling and Data Pipeline development.
Key responsibilities:
- Translate requirements and data mapping documents into technical designs
- Develop SQL and data pipelines using dbt and Dagster
- Debug and troubleshoot issues during testing and production phases
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with enterprise data platforms and transformation pipelines
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and dbt for large-scale ETL/ELT solutions
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in data engineering
