Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the entry-level Data Engineer I will develop and maintain data pipelines, manage data migrations and ETL processes, and deliver custom reporting solutions using AI and SQL.
Key responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain EDI 834 benefit enrollment files and associated ancillary file formats, ensuring compliance with specifications
- Create custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for internal and client stakeholders
- Manage and track project work items using an Azure DevOps Kanban board, ensuring accurate status updates throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience with ETL and data migration processes in a SQL-focused role
- Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SQL Server 2012+, SSRS, SSIS)
- Hands-on experience building or working with EDI 834 files and ancillary benefit enrollment formats
- Experience managing work items and project tasks using Azure DevOps Kanban boards
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field preferred
