Job Summary
Building and maintaining reliable data pipelines, the full-time remote Data Engineer will develop moderate-complexity solutions and troubleshoot data quality issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the healthcare domain.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support ETL/ELT pipelines and data components using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark
- Contribute to technical designs and monitor pipeline performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver reliable data changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields with a focus on production data solutions
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in developing production data pipelines
- Experience with Apache Spark/PySpark and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration technologies like Airflow or Argo
