Job Summary
Seeking a versatile, hands-on Data Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for building and maintaining a scalable analytics data warehouse, contributing to data modeling, performing data analysis, and ensuring reliable data delivery to downstream teams and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines, optimizing for performance and reliability
- Write optimal SQL queries for data exploration and support the creation of reports and dashboards
- Monitor data pipelines to ensure SLAs for timeliness, freshness, and accuracy are consistently met
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms/warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster)
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and dimensional modeling
