Job Summary
To support mid-market and enterprise clients, the full-time Associate Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize modern data solutions primarily using the Microsoft stack, transforming raw data into analytics-ready assets while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using T SQL, Python, and Azure Data Factory/Fabric Data Pipelines
- Design relational and lakehouse models, creating shortcuts and dimensional models for Power BI
- Build automated data quality checks and contribute to CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps or GitHub
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience delivering production data solutions, preferably in a consulting role
- Strong proficiency in T SQL for data transformation and performance tuning
- Experience with ETL/ELT using Microsoft services such as ADF, Synapse Pipelines, or Fabric Data Pipelines
- Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or comparable lakehouse technologies preferred
