Job Summary
Owning the data infrastructure for Scale Media's brands, the full-time remote Data Engineer will build and manage data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and support cross-functional projects, particularly with Odoo for inventory management.
Key responsibilities
- Optimize data architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
- Maintain API integrations with platforms like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and Google Ads, while scoping new data integrations
- Act as the technical partner for Odoo, supporting upgrades and maintaining integrations with other systems
Required qualifications
- Strong SQL and Python skills with experience in building production data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt, and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with Odoo, including data model integration and version upgrades
- Familiarity with e-commerce and marketing platform integrations, such as Shopify and Meta
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role
