Job Summary
To contribute to the development and maintenance of a Snowflake-based data ecosystem, the full-time Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ELT pipelines, data models, and observability frameworks while working remotely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and governance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and data infrastructure using Snowflake
- Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions
- Establish and enforce data quality standards and observability frameworks for high reliability across all pipelines
Required qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, specifically with production-grade pipelines
- 3+ years of direct experience with Snowflake in a production capacity
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience with version-controlled, CI/CD-driven data pipeline development
