Job Summary
Supporting RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC, the full-time remote Data Engineer will manage the development and delivery of data solutions, maintain the enterprise data warehouse, and optimize database performance while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver full lifecycle data solutions, including development, testing, and deployment for business-critical analytics
- Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion failures and performance bottlenecks to ensure high data availability and integrity
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Business Analysts to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data ingestion and pipeline development
- Deep understanding of relational database design principles and schema optimization
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Advanced SQL skills for writing, optimizing, and tuning queries and stored procedures
- Familiarity with financial and/or mortgage servicing data is preferred
