Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey's Aviation Department, the contract Data Engineer will develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure technologies in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services
• Build and manage data integration solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations using SQL/T-SQL

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in data engineering and enterprise data integration
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and integrating data from multiple sources
