Job Summary
To support the development of an enterprise Unstructured Data Platform, the remote contract Data Engineer will design, build, and integrate scalable cloud-native solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable business capabilities and manage unstructured data.
Key responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions and develop technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy
- Implement reusable data ingestion services and establish metadata capture standards during ingestion
- Build and support cloud-based platform services while automating deployment and operational processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering
- Experience designing distributed cloud-native architectures and working with enterprise data platforms
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and modern API technologies
- Proficiency in implementing automation and DevOps practices, including CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code
