Job Summary
To support a growing data infrastructure, the full-time remote Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), integrating data from various sources to enable reporting and business insights.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation from databases, APIs, and SFTP file deliveries
- Build and manage GCP data infrastructure to meet business requirements for performance, scalability, availability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into data solutions and resolve technical issues
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and supporting production data pipelines on GCP
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data extraction, transformation, integration, and automation
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and relevant GCP orchestration and data processing services
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and data quality practices
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer is preferred
