Data Engineer II
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Data Engineer II to work remotely full-time, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platform capabilities to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for high-volume healthcare data
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation and performance tuning
- Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, including DAG creation and monitoring
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation tasks
- Experience with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools, particularly Apache Airflow
