Data Engineer II
Job Summary
To support data-driven initiatives, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will build and maintain streaming and replication pipelines, manage data schemas and contracts, and provision infrastructure as code across shared environments.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain streaming and replication pipelines using technologies such as CDC and Kafka
- Manage schemas, topics, and data contracts to ensure consistency and governance
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling to facilitate safe and quick team releases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer/software engineering, computer science, Mathematics, or Physics
- 5+ years of experience in a data engineering or data-heavy backend software engineering role
- Expertise in Kafka, streaming systems, Python (or similar), SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis without sponsorship
