Data Engineer II

Job Summary

To enhance data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will design, build, and maintain scalable data systems, operationalize complex data pipelines, and mentor junior team members while collaborating across departments.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs and maintains large-scale data processing systems to ensure efficiency and security of data pipelines
• Develops automated data validation and mapping rules, ensuring data integrity and quick identification of errors
• Mentors junior engineers and produces training materials to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent
• Four years of experience in data engineering with strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with architecting scalable data systems and operationalizing complex solutions
• Familiarity with healthcare data management and industry standards preferred
• Epic Clarity Cogito certification preferred
