Data Engineer III
Job Summary
To support a potential contract award with a DoD Federal Client, the remote Data Engineer III will lead pipeline development, data transformation, and secure data integration activities while managing data assets and supporting ETL processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, monitoring, and maintenance of data assets provided by the Data Centralization and Business Intelligence (DCBI) team
- Support existing ETL packages and develop new SSIS packages for additional data sources in collaboration with data owners
- Maintain technical documentation and provide troubleshooting for Microsoft Power BI reports and scheduled refreshes
Required qualifications:
- 10 or more years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technical roles
- Proven expertise in building and managing data pipelines using SSIS
- Skilled in SQL for data engineering and automation
- Hands-on experience with Power BI reports, including knowledge of DAX and M
- Background in DoD, federal healthcare, or compliance-driven settings
