Job Summary
To build secure and reliable data capabilities for a mission-focused platform, the full-time Data Engineer - Maryland Licensed will design and operate ETL/ELT pipelines, onboard legacy data sources, and implement automated data-quality checks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion from multiple sources
- Onboard legacy data sources by reviewing schemas, mappings, and operational support procedures
- Build automated data-quality checks and troubleshoot failures across distributed data systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, including production pipeline development
- Proficiency in Python, Java, R, or other relevant programming languages
