Data Engineer, Onboarding

Job Summary

To support healthcare organizations, the full-time remote Data Engineer, Onboarding will build and maintain data pipelines for customer healthcare data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient onboarding and data integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and Python, adhering to a Bronze/Silver/Gold lakehouse pattern
• Onboard customer data by transforming 837 claims, 835 remittance, and EMR data to accurately map it to the MDaudit data model
• Collaborate with Implementation, Product, Support, and IT teams to troubleshoot onboarding issues and maintain project timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
• 2+ years of programming experience with Python and SQL
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark
• 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in revenue cycle management (RCM)
