Job Summary
Building a next-generation enterprise data platform, the full-time Data Engineer - Snowflake & DBT will develop ELT pipelines, model data across layered architectures, and migrate legacy workflows while working remotely with internal and consulting teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop ELT pipelines on Snowflake and dbt, implementing layered transformations and governed serving structures
- Migrate legacy analytics workflows to the modern stack, ensuring data quality and adherence to approved data contracts
- Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver against program acceptance gates, maintaining clear communication and documentation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, with strong Snowflake and dbt proficiency
- Expert SQL skills with a focus on complex transformations and performance tuning
- Solid Python experience for data ingestion, automation, and orchestration
- Experience with layered/medallion architecture and data quality practices
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing as standard engineering practices
