Data Engineer - Snowflake Expert
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Data Engineer - Snowflake Expert, the candidate will architect and deliver enterprise data platform solutions using Snowflake and dbt, while establishing data engineering standards and partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and deliver enterprise data platform solutions leveraging Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python, and modern data integration technologies
- Establish and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for code quality, CI/CD, and operational excellence
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions, models, and implementation roadmaps
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of progressive data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead technical capacity
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, and optimizing solutions in Snowflake, including SQL development and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with dbt, including building data products and model development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Experience with pipeline orchestration tools and semantic layer development in Snowflake
