Job Summary
Joining a rapidly growing AI and data engineering team, the full-time Data Engineer - Virginia Licensed will develop and support cloud-native data ingestion solutions in a hybrid Richmond, VA environment, focusing on architecting, building, and optimizing critical data pipelines for secure financial data movement.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and AWS-native services
- Implement and manage distributed data processing solutions with AWS Glue, Spark, Lambda, and ECS
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across the entire data platform
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in Python development within enterprise-scale environments
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, and S3
- Proficiency with Spark and AWS Glue for large-scale data processing
- Experience with Git, source control management, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated success building and supporting cloud-native data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
