Job Summary
To support the Department of War's financial management decisions, a Data Engineer with Secret Clearance will work on a hybrid basis, collecting, cleaning, and transforming raw data into reliable datasets using Python, SQL, and Databricks.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform raw data into actionable information
- Implement analytical techniques and applications using data-oriented programming languages and visualization tools
- Analyze data patterns and validate data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability
Required qualifications
- Up to 3 years of directly related experience and a B.A./B.S. degree
- Experience using Python, SQL, R, or similar languages for data manipulation and analytics workflows
- Familiarity with data-processing frameworks such as Databricks or Spark
- Understanding of basic analytical concepts including data mining and machine learning fundamentals
- Active Secret clearance
