Data Engineering Lead
Job Summary
As the senior technical voice within the data and ML engineering organization, the full-time remote Data Engineering Lead will provide hands-on leadership for data engineering design, establish coding standards, and ensure the delivery of reliable and scalable enterprise data products.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership for data engineering design and build quality across enterprise data products
- Review designs and enforce coding standards, acting as the technical review gate before significant builds
- Lead the design and delivery of analytics-ready data models and cloud-native data pipelines on AWS
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience building enterprise-grade data platforms and analytics-ready data models
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience in data engineering delivery
- Hands-on experience using dbt for data transformation and delivery
- Strong experience delivering data pipelines on AWS and familiarity with data quality practices
