Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time remote Data Engineering Lead will guide a team of engineers in shaping the enterprise data platform, focusing on architecture, development, and delivery across Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers through project planning, code reviews, and career development
- Own the platform strategy for Azure and Microsoft Fabric, consolidating redundant components and creating a practical roadmap
- Manage transformation pipelines end to end, ensuring reliability and performance while coordinating with platform owners and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of data engineering experience, including at least two years in a leadership role
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric in a production environment
- Proficiency in advanced T-SQL, including ETL processes at scale
- Experience with Azure data services and their integration with Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
