Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Data Engineering and Analytics team in a hybrid remote capacity, the full-time Manager, Data Engineering & Analytics will oversee technical execution and strategic direction, ensuring the delivery of accurate data reports and analyses while fostering team development and driving analytics maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts, providing mentorship and guidance for their professional growth
• Design and implement data products using modern technologies such as Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow while ensuring a governed approach to data reporting
• Set strategic goals for the team to align with company objectives, promoting continuous improvement and the adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering, with increasing scope and responsibility
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a technical data role, including SQL, dbt, and pipeline orchestration such as Airflow
• Strong leadership skills with 2+ years of direct people management experience
• Working knowledge of machine learning and data science, including experience with predictive analytics and model deployment
