Job Summary

Leading a team of skilled data engineers, the full-time salaried Data Engineering Manager will oversee the development and scaling of a modern data platform, manage project execution, and mentor team members in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3-5 data engineers to execute the data product roadmap
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and warehouse layers using various technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver aligned solutions

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with 1-2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing and mentoring data engineers
• Deep knowledge of modern data platforms such as Snowflake, DBT, and Kafka
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data modeling
• Familiarity with Agile product delivery and cross-functional collaboration
