Job Summary
Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will own the technical roadmap for the Enterprise Data platform, focusing on Snowflake and Airflow, while championing an AI-first approach to data engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers through hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for the Enterprise Data platform, ensuring high standards for data quality and efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into reliable, well-governed data products
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Apache Airflow in production environments
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with the ability to review and write pipeline code
- Experience with modern ELT tooling such as dbt or Fivetran/Airbyte
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
