Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading Finance Automation within Data Engineering, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will oversee a team of five data and analytics engineers, manage high-impact projects, and shape the technical roadmap while ensuring high-quality data practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and management of a full-stack team of data engineers or analytics engineers
• Lead transformational projects end-to-end in a data-driven environment
• Drive continuous improvement and growth within the team through mentorship and oversight

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data or analytics engineer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in building production data pipelines and warehouse models, with strong SQL and dbt skills
• Experience managing financial data critical for accounting processes, including GL feeds and month-end close
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions for complex data engineering challenges
• Strong experience in database design, data modeling, and orchestration
