Data Engineering Specialist
Job Summary
Transforming complex data into meaningful insights, the full-time Data Engineering & Visualization Specialist will design and maintain interactive dashboards, lead analytics use cases, and collaborate with customers to deliver impactful data-driven solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
- Lead individual data analytics use cases from requirements gathering through to customer adoption
- Perform exploratory data analysis and support the development of data pipelines and analytical datasets using Databricks, Python, SQL, and PySpark
Required qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence
- Strong expertise in data visualization and business intelligence, with proficiency in at least one visualization platform
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Intermediate-level analytics project management experience with the ability to independently lead a use case
