Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting daily governance operations, the full-time remote Data Governance Analyst will manage data cataloging, lineage, and classification processes while collaborating with data stewards and compliance teams to ensure adherence to governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on the creation and execution of a strategic data governance roadmap to support business objectives
• Manage the execution of data cataloging, lineage, and sensitivity tagging processes using governance platforms
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training for data stewards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and platform DevOps administration
• Hands-on experience with governance workflow execution within Collibra or equivalent platforms
• Working knowledge of governance frameworks (DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK, NIST) and data quality principles
• Experience with data analytics and BI tools, as well as knowledge of cloud data technologies like AWS and Snowflake
