Data Governance Analyst
Job Summary
Working onsite in a full-time contract role, the Data Governance Analyst will configure and maintain the Alation Data Catalog, support data lineage development, and establish governance workflows while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and administer the Alation Data Catalog and related governance capabilities
- Create and maintain metadata, business glossary terms, and data definitions
- Support the development and maintenance of data lineage across reports and data sources
Required qualifications:
- Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Metadata Management
- Hands-on experience with Alation is mandatory
- Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks and metadata management
- Experience supporting regulatory, risk, compliance, or audit requirements
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
