Data Governance Analyst
Job Summary
To support the organization's Data Governance program, the full-time remote Data Governance Analyst will manage technology platforms and processes, focusing on data cataloging, metadata management, and compliance initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support the enterprise Data Catalog in partnership with the Data Governance team
- Lead the data catalog roadmap, including metadata collection, data classification, and business glossary development
- Design and implement the Data Stewardship Program in alignment with governance objectives
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering data catalog platforms
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and stewardship best practices
- Experience supporting or administering Databricks Unity Catalog or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and data quality management processes
