Data Governance Director

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise Data Governance program, the full-time Data Governance Director will develop and implement strategies to enhance the value, quality, and responsible use of enterprise data while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align the Data Governance strategy and operating model with business and technology priorities
• Oversee the execution of Data Governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and managing resources effectively
• Lead the Data Governance team, fostering talent development and promoting accountability within the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information management, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ten years of progressive experience in data governance, information management, or related disciplines
• Five or more years of leadership experience managing teams or enterprise programs
• Property and casualty insurance industry experience preferred
• Experience in Agile product delivery environments and collaboration with Digital Product Management organizations preferred
